At Cielles Curtains, we aim for your complete satisfaction with every purchase. If, however, you find yourself needing to return an item, we have established clear guidelines to ensure a smooth process.

  1. Returns: We accept returns within 30 days of the purchase date. To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused and in the same condition as received. It must also be in the original packaging.

  2. Refunds: Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you of the status of your refund. If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your original payment method. Please note that shipping costs are non-refundable.

  3. Exchanges: If you wish to exchange your item for a different size or color, please contact us. We'll guide you through the process and assist in ensuring you receive the desired product.

  4. Damaged or Defective Items: In the unfortunate event that your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us immediately. We will do our best to resolve the issue promptly.

  5. Return Shipping: You will be responsible for paying the shipping costs for returning your item. Please consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

At Cielles Curtains, we aim for your complete satisfaction with every purchase. If, however, you find yourself needing to return an item, we have established clear guidelines to ensure a smooth process.

Your Statutory Rights

As a consumer in the UK, you are protected by statutory rights, allowing you to return faulty items. There are also statutory cancellation rights for certain goods bought online. These rights are detailed below

Refunds

Refunds for eligible returns will be issued to the original payment method. For security reasons, refunds to credit or debit cards require the cardholder's presence.

Cancelling Orders

As per the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation, and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, cancellation rights apply to goods purchased online or by phone within 14 days from delivery. Return costs are the responsibility of the buyer, except for certain goods.

Change of Mind

We hope you love your Cielles Curtains purchase, but if you change your mind:

  • Return unused items within 28 days of purchase with the original receipt.

  • Exclusions apply to personalised items, perishables, and certain hygiene products.

How to Return an Item

Faulty items (excluding furniture and large items) can be returned in-store. For other returns, contact us to arrange the best return method for you.

Change of Mind Policy

Under our "Change of Mind" policy, you have the option to return products (excluding specific exclusions) within 28 days of purchase if you've had a change of heart. Please refer to the details of our policy and applicable exclusions below.

Exclusions

Certain items are not eligible for return unless faulty, damaged, missing, or not as specified: Personalised or custom-made products (e.g., Made to Measure curtains, blinds, and accessories). Live plants. Health and hygiene items (e.g., mattress toppers, protectors, duvets, pillows, etc.). For specifics on returning different items, whether furniture or bedding, refer to our "How to Return an Item" section below.

Returning Faulty Items

Should an item arrive damaged or faulty, we are committed to addressing the issue promptly: Within 30 days of purchase, return the item with proof of purchase for a refund or replacement. After 30 days, we'll repair or replace the faulty item based on the proof of purchase. After 6 months, proof of the fault at the time of purchase is required for resolution. Contact us via our online form or Live Chat service to arrange a refund or replacement for damaged or faulty items.

Exchanges

In-store exchanges are possible within 28 days, subject to our Change of Mind policy. Online purchases can be exchanged by placing a new order.

Refund Processing

Refunds for returned items are processed upon receipt and verification, taking up to 21 days. Confirmation will be sent via email.

Please retain proof of postage until the refund is received.
